Welcome to the rescue, Sue! First the rescue helped Lefty, Sue's sister, find her forever home. Now it's Sue's turn to find her happily ever after! Sue is a sweet Border Collie. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and currently weighs 33 pounds. She is a fine boned dog. Sue was surrendered by her owner in Texas since she is too sweet for cattle herding. She has been great with all dogs and also plays with foster pups. She loves running with the resident dogs. She has some energy and will need an adopter committed to giving her the proper exercise. Sue has been exposed to both house and barn cats, and she has done well. She has not chased them at all. Sue is potty trained. The fostesr is working on house manners with Sue, as she thinks the refrigerator and counter are a gold mine. Sue is currently being fostered in Texas. She will be fully vaccinated and spayed before arriving in Central NY. The rescue is accepting applications for her now. Don't miss out on this very special girl! Sue's adoption fee is $300 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and transportation fees.

In 2018 a group of animal lovers got together to form a special animal rescue.

Every year millions of pets are surrendered to animal shelters and ultimately euthanized. In NY state alone thousands of dogs and cats are neglected, abandoned , homeless , and left in shelters. Seven was one of many pets abandoned by the only family he had ever known.

Seventh Heaven Rescue was created to help any animal in need. Our mission is to try to keep dogs out of shelters as well as rescue dogs that have found themselves in shelters. Our goal is to provide them the love , compassion, kindness , dignity and respect as well as medical care they need and deserve.

Our mission is to honor Seven’s memory in the hope that we can help other dogs and any animal in need just like him find loving families. We are strictly a non for profit organization. All donations go directly to those animals in our care.
