Meet Bubbles!

Bubbles was brought into a local clinic for a microchip scan and they were able to locate the owners - but they had moved to Tennessee some time ago leaving Bubbles behind. The kindhearted individual who brought her in said she was wandering the neighborhood, asking to be let inside.

Bubbles was quite anxious when she was brought to the clinic, barely leaving a corner of her cage. One of the employees took Bubbles home to help her acclimate to indoor life and to assess her health.

Bubbles earned her name because when she's especially happy and relaxed she drools spit bubbles (we think it's charming ;) ). She is a super laid back lady, never even thinking about scratching or biting... She even loves to have her belly rubbed!

Bubbles would do best in a low to medium energy household with no other cats (she finds them scary!) but she would be open to a similarly relaxed, independent dog housemate. Once she settles into her new home she will likely spend all day purring in her person's lap just enjoying the calm stability of a permanent home. She should do just fine with kids as well.

We believe Bubbles is about five years old and she has a clean bill of health. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinates, FIV/FELV negative, dewormed, microchipped (including registration), and ready to integrate into her new life and forever home. The adoption fee is $65.

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
