My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a survivor.  With no momma or siblings in site, at about 5 weeks old, frail and thin, he made it to a garage looking for food where his foster parent was able to trap him. He was feral only for the day, and by the next day was purring and wanting to be loved. He knew his name right away and would look at his foster mama and come when called. Charlie loves dogs. He plays and cuddles with other cats. He loves family, people and animals alike. He's a lap kitty. Charlie likes his scratching post, kitty condo, and all 3 meals served on time with dry on the side. Charlie will be a wonderful addition to any family and is ready to adopt you!

Charlie is around 10 weeks old, he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped (including registration). His adoption fee is $100. If you would like to make Charlie part of your family, please begin by filling out an application today!

Additional adoption info

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
