My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sioux!

Sioux entered Riverside County Department of Animal Services as a stray. When she wasn't claimed during the hold period, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on August 20th. She is 10 years old and weighs 78 lbs. This beautiful girl is friendly, sweet, and does well on-site in a play group with other dogs.

Sioux went on a two-week Frosted Fling to enjoy extra love and care while we learned what she is like in a home. Her Fling Mom reports:

"Sioux settled in and flourished in our home. Here are some highlights on her spectacular personality!

* She loves pets and cuddles, but is also more than content with finding a soft place to relax.
* She is an excellent eater! She is missing some teeth, but chows down on kibble regardless and is not picky at all.
* She is crate-trained, but prefers being left out. She's been left out for up to four hours and has never had an accident!
* She gets along well with our pup. She hasn't showed interest in playing with him, but they often end up laying next to each other in bed or on the sofa!
* She sleeps through the night on our bed and has never had an accident overnight.
* Sioux is the PERFECT walker!!! Non-reactive and she sticks right by your side. She is a big believer in "slow and steady and tires out quickly, but she handles 1-2 miles of walking a day in half mile intervals like a pro!

Sioux is a wonderful girl! Honestly, we can think of no vices she has, and we absolutely loved having her in our home. She is a major cuddle bug and will totally be a lap dog if you let her. We are hoping Sioux finds her family soon, we're rooting for her!"

Sioux is back on-site and ready for her forever home! Might it be with you?

Stop by to meet Sioux and other adoptable Frosted Faces between 10:00 and 3:00 every day. We look forward to seeing you soon!
