My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

⭐️ Meet Abigail, aka Abby! ⭐️

Age: 3 1/2 months

🐕 Breed: mixed, parents unknown

🏋️‍♀️ Weight: currently 25lbs, but will most likely grow to be a larger dog (best guess maybe 65lbs?)

🐶 Personality: Extremely active & playful! Abby is BURSTING with energy and thrives on playtime. She requires plenty of active play sessions and ample space both indoors and out to run around and keep her tail wagging and her heart content. She’s the perfect partner for daily adventures, outdoor walks, and those who live a very active lifestyle where she’ll get lots of love and attention!

🏡 Ideal Family: Abby is seeking a furever family with a kind heart and patient soul!

**Abby will need to be adopted to a home where someone can be with her throughout the day to continue to work through some anxiety, actively engage her in training activities and playtime, and continue to work on her housebreaking**

Patience, dedication, and lots of energy are must-have qualities! She has not been around younger kids (only teenagers), but we think she would likely do best around children who are old enough to understand puppy behaviors and antics. Abby would also absolutely LOVE to have a 🐶 pup friend who has similar (or more!) energy.

🐾 Social Skills: Abby is a social butterfly, and loves to play tug-of-war and wrestle around with her foster mom’s 1 year old terrier, also from Cold Nose Warm Heart. She absolutely flourishes in the company of a canine companion who matches her energy and playfulness, and would LOVE a doggy sibling. Abby has not spent any time with cats.

🏅Training Progress: This young gal is working on her housebreaking and puppy manners, so with continued guidance and dedication, she’ll be there in no time! She is also adjusting well to walking on a leash. Abby experiences anxiety in a crate or playpen, so continued training, patience, and a calm environment will be key to ease her worries and help her feel secure.

😴 Sleep Habits: Abby is a cuddlebug come bedtime, and a pro at sleeping through the night when accompanied by her favorite human! Prepare for snuggles and warmth as she melts next to you for a peaceful sleep. She will hold her bladder from about 10:30pm-9am, and wakes up refreshed and super excited for her morning walk outdoors.

❤️ Ready to embrace Abby’s lively spirit, shower her with love, and commit to her training needs? Fill out an application with Cold Nose Warm Heart today! ❤️ http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html
