Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Polo is a handsome 2 year old white and brown tabby. He was found with his brother Marco and turned into the SPCA. Their time was up and both boys needed to leave the shelter or be euthanized, so Stray Cat Blues brought them into our foster care.
The boys can be shy initially, so they will need some time to adjust to a new quiet home and get to know you. Both brothers are very sweet-natured. We've never seen a swat or a hiss out of them. They get along well with other cats and kittens. They are very active players and are easily entertained by laser pointers, wand toys or just wrestling with each other. They would love to have their very own cat tree to nap, sun themselves and watch the wildlife outside. We have discovered that they have allergies to some food, so they are currently on a diet of HA Hydrolyzed Protein. Their skin and coats are now super shiny and healthy.
Marco and Polo are bonded, so they must be adopted together. They have been in foster care for over a year, getting ready for their happy ending. If you are a patient cat person who wants to make a huge difference in the lives of these adorable brothers, please apply today and we'll be happy to have you come meet them at our Whiskers Way Station. You will fall in love like we all have!

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
