Meet April: A Brave Mama Cat Looking for a Loving Home

April's story is one of incredible resilience. She was discovered under the most unexpected circumstances—tucked away in a bathroom sink cabinet with her three newborn kittens. When April was found, it was clear she had been through a lot. Despite the stress and the days she spent confined in a small space, April never stopped caring for her babies.

Now safe and comfortable in the shelter, April has finally recovered from the trauma she experienced. She was a dedicated and loving mother & her kittens have been adopted. April now deserves a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be pampered after everything she’s been through. If you're looking for a special cat who’s been through the worst but still has so much love to give, April might be the one for you.

Additional adoption info

Call 740-934-2693 to make an appointment to visit pets at our shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before leaving our facility. You must fill out an adoption form and be approved. We will need to see a driver license or valid id card with your address.

$150.00 adoption fee for dogs/puppies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and rabies shots, wormed, heartworm and lyme disease tested.

$50.00 adoption fee for cats. All cats are up to date on shots, have been spayed and neutered, and feline leukemia tested.
