For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Paw It 4ward Foundation with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet little Callie! This little gem is an 8 to 9 months old terrier puppy currently looking for her forever people. Callie is amazing with other dogs and adjust to their play style. She is currently learning basic training and is crate/house trained. Foster mom states that she is super smart and eager to please. Callie is on the smaller side and will probably grow to under 45 lbs. She is a magical bunny and can leap small buildings therefore she will need tall fencing.
Callie is great at meeting new people and we want her forever home to make sure to keep her social breed ambassador! For more information please email adopt@pi4w.com

More about this rescue
What does PI4W do?
Our goal is to assist local animal rescues with funds to offset the exorbitant medical bills they incur as they save lives.
What does PI4W do?
We provide adoption events, education, and a community setting for local rescues to work together. We assist rescues with fundraising opportunities, marketing, social media, photography and graphic design. We are innovative in our approach to bring these communities together to benefit all animals.
What else does PI4W do?
In February of 2014, we added in a Rescue, focused on bully breeds with urgent medical needs from local kill shelters. All rescued dogs live in foster homes since we do not believe in kenneling our dogs. Through breed ambassadors we hope to showcase the amazing bully breed. All rescue fundraiser profits are only utilized for medical expenses as well as everyday care of our rescue pups.
• We share the amount of funds we raise from every fundraiser
• Information regarding funds collected through our fundraising efforts is available upon request
Who do we support?
To be considered, a Rescue must file an application every year with the foundation. They must provide documentation on their quality standards of care for all animals in their care. Their adoptions must include: spay/neuter, vet checks, home checks, and references.
A fund request application must be submitted for medical cases along with documentation by a veterinary practice providing care. Medical funding is ALWAYS made directly to the medical practice, never to the rescue.
What makes PI4W so special?
Our team! Each and every team member is passionate about making a difference in an animal's life! The respect, compassion, and love they share with animals is the same respect, compassion, and love we share with every member of our team! We have an open forum which means we are listening! We love to hear thoughts and ideas from everyone! Each of us brings different strengths to our team which allows us to successfully achieve our goals!
We also believe in transparency, which means
• We share the amount of funds we donate to an animal’s care
• Information regarding funds collected through our fundraising efforts is available upon request
