My name is Jillie!

Jillie is a dignified lady who believes in moderation in all things. She eats like a bird—just a little here, a little there. Petting? Let’s not go overboard. A small show of love and admiration is perfect. Brushing? If you must, but only with brushing gloves, please, and just for a minute or two.

Jillie likes to know where her primary human is and will often follow them around, chatting from time to time. But don’t take this as an invitation to pick her up—Jillie is a dignified lady, after all. All that mushy stuff? Not her style.

One thing Jillie will indulge in is play, especially with a feather wand toy. If you have stairs with a landing, she’ll give you bonus points and reward you with some extra petting time. Running up and down the stairs and rolling on the landing is her idea of fun—done in a dignified manner, of course.

Some might call Jillie picky; she prefers to think of herself as discerning. She knows what she likes and, once you understand her preferences, she’s very easy to live with. Jillie isn’t clingy but does enjoy a bit of attention and being wherever you are, just not on you. She’s not demanding either—except when it’s time to play, which is about three times a day.
