Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anyone that adopts Trip is very lucky! He truly is the best boy!
He came to the rescue covered in scabs. He had multiple lacerations caused by a sibling. I agreed to take him to save his life. With a lot of love … and a little antibiotic salve, he is almost as good as new.
He is so loving! He is a kisser. He “windshield washes” my cat’s and dog’s faces daily. He will be your shadow. Get used to not cooking or showering alone. My husband gave him the middle name Hazard because he is always under our feet. 😅
He is very smart! He currently knows the sit command. We are working on shake. He shakes on his terms. It is random.
I have not witnessed any type of aggression. He has never shown any type of food aggression. (I touch his face, food, and bowl during feeding.) He has never growled. Most of the time, he will lay on his tummy while eating. He always wags his tail.
Once he feels comfortable, he will chase his tail, crawl on his belly, and do zoomies.
I would use caution around smaller children and animals. He can be rough. It is not intentional. He is just a huge puppy.
I am home most of the time. He is only crated while I am gone. He is crate trained, has never had an accident in his crate.
He is NOT completely potty trained, but he is well on his way. Watch for floor sniffing. He will also go to the door. Trip is very smart and loves treat rewards!
He is not a leash or harness fan. He will park on the ground. I would not recommend taking him outside of your home until he has mastered walking on a lead. You could lose him. Again, he is treat driven. Keep working with him.
If not for my frequent travels, this boy would be a foster fail- he’s so perfect! Please give him the absolute best life. He so deserves it.
Trip is neutered, up to date on shots, on preventatives and microchipped upon adoption. His fee is $200
