My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Chateau. I was born in a foster home after my mama, Pippi, who was rescued from being a stray. She is a great mama.

I'm a pretty little black and white cat with a little white stripe running down my nose. Just like my brothers and sister, I am very playful and full of energy. I love hiding in boxes, chasing little balls and wrestling with my brothers and sister.

I'm also curious and like to explore. I try to get in every open door or cupboard I can. I'm just curious and want to see what's in there. You never know, there might be something I can play with. That reminds me, running up and down my cat tree is fun too.

I am a bit more quite than my brothers and sister, and need some time to myself once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and love to be near them. My foster mom holds me like a little baby.

I am a nicely trained little girl and always use my litter box. I LOVE to eat the canned food my foster mom gives me. I eat dry food too, but the canned food is so much better.

I'm still learning not to jump up on the table. I really want to see what everyone is eating. I'm starting to understand that when foster mom says 'NO' I'm supposed to get down. I'm getting better at it!

Although my siblings and I wrestle a lot, I like to curl up and sleep with them too. They are my best buddies.

I would love to go to a home where someone would play with me. I like to chash those toys on long strings that my foster mom pulls around. That is lots of fun.

I'm a sweet, friendly kitten that loves to be with my family. Maybe you could be my new family!

More about this rescue

St. Francis Animal Rescue (SFAAR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected, stray and surrendered dogs and cats. Until they are adopted, the pets in our program live in loving foster homes as part of the family while we learn about their personalities, behaviors and temperaments. Foster families work with their animals to teach them good manners, care for any medical problems, and address any behavior issues. This information helps our adoption counselors match the perfect pet for you and your family.
