O'Hare entered Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray. When he wasn't claimed during his hold period, we scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on August 20th. O'Hare is 9 years old and weighs 11 lbs. O'Hare is a friendly and affectionate boy who loves to curl up in your lap. His cuddly and fun nature makes him a wonderful companion, whether it's a Netflix night or a day at the park!
O'Hare went on a two-week Frosted Fling to enjoy extra love and care while we learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom shared this rave review:
"O'Hare is such a sweet, loving boy. He's going to be a very loyal companion to his forever family. When he is not exploring outside, he is all about the snuggles. He happily sits on your lap or lie right next to you, and when it's time for bed, he loves curling up under the blankets. O'Hare is always up for a good head scratch or belly rub.
O'Hare gets along great with other dogs and starts a game of playtime if they're up for it. Even when one of my pack snapped at him, he walked away. He had no separation anxiety when I left the house. When I took O'Hare with me, he was excellent in the car.
O'Hare has lots of fun energy. He loves running around the yard and chasing squirrels. He is good on leash, too. Inside the house, he is quiet and mellow, and he rarely barks. O'Hare loves food! He takes treats gently but needs a little supervision at mealtime to make sure he doesn't sneak a little from another's bowl.
O'Hare listents to the command "stay" and isn't a door dasher. At the end of our fling, he started playing with toys!"
A volunteer took O'Hare on an outing to Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. Afterwards, she shared: "It was a joy to spend the afternoon with O'Hare! He has good energy and loves to sniff, but he is also content being held. O'Hare was such a good boy around children and other dogs and in the store, even with the barking dog we kept encountering! It was fun to see his reaction to the farm animals, too. O'Hare is such a sweetheart!"
If you're looking for a buddy who's full of love, a little goofy, and always ready for a cuddle, O'Hare is your guy!
Please email adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet him!
