Meet Gus Mac!
This smiley boy is a two-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix, and he is currently looking for his forever home! Gus Mac was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, after not being reclaimed he is now available for adoption! We do not know how Gus Mac does with cats, but he has done well with the dogs he has been kenneled with here at the shelter! We also do not know if Gus Mac is house, or crate trained, but he is a smart boy and will learn quickly, we also offer trial adoptions to make sure it's a pawfect fit! Gus Mac is a sweet, goofy boy, and would do well in a home with children. Gus Mac is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and weighs 47 pounds! Come adopt goofy Gus Mac today!

Gus Mac's adoption fee is $74!Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Monetary donations can be made over the phone or in person any time we are open. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and close daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Item donations can be shipped to the shelter or dropped off in person at 2935 Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Our mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach. We strive to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness thus bringing an end to the cruelest practices towards animals. We aim to lower the number of homeless/unwanted animals and build a stronger animal protection movement within the community. Most importantly, we strive to find the best possible outcomes for all animals released into our care.
