Meet Cooper!
This handsome fella is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, and he is currently seeking out his forever home! Cooper was owner released to the shelter because they could no longer care for him. This good boy does great with other dogs, and although he does not like cats, he might be your pawfect fit! This sweet guy is loving and friendly and we think he would do great in a home with kiddos, we offer trial adoptions to test the waters too! Cooper is house and crate trained, he will easily be able to adapt to any environment! Cooper is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and weighs 59 pounds! Come adopt handsome Cooper today!

Cooper's adoption fee is $115!Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

Monetary donations can be made over the phone or in person any time we are open. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and close daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Item donations can be shipped to the shelter or dropped off in person at 2935 Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Complete the paperwork in person or over the phone.

Take the animal home the same day.

Our mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach. We strive to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness thus bringing an end to the cruelest practices towards animals. We aim to lower the number of homeless/unwanted animals and build a stronger animal protection movement within the community. Most importantly, we strive to find the best possible outcomes for all animals released into our care.
