My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

My ideal home:

Aurora would be a great fit for any home!

Good with other pets?

Aurora is good around other dogs. During her dog-to-dog testing, Aurora was found to be tolerant and happy around the other dog.
Aurora came in as a stray, so we have no knowledge of their history with cats. ACC does not conduct dog-to-cat testing on-site.

Good with children?

Aurora came in as a stray, so we have no knowledge of her history with children. Based on what we have seen during her time at the shelter, we think Aurora could do well in a home with children.

How are my leash manners?

Aurora pulls mildly on the leash and would benefit from some basic leash manners and polite walking training.

What is my behavior assessment?

Aurora's behavior assessment revealed a friendly, social dog. She pulls mildly on leash and is comfortable around people and other dogs. Aurora has a level 1 behavior assessment, meaning she is suitable for most households.
