My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Sochi!

This purrfect girl came to AFRP from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after they requested some help with their adoptable kitties! Now she's ready to find her furever home!

Sochi is an adorable and affectionate smokey torbie who loves being close to her person, almost like a little shadow! Her curiosity knows no bounds, whether it's exploring the fridge, kitchen cupboards, or dresser drawers, she's always eager to see what's going on. Sochi is also incredibly playful, with feather toys being her absolute favorite, but she's just as happy to snuggle up on your lap after a fun play session!

Sochi would love to find a home with adult adopters or with family with cat-savvy children over the age of six. Sochi gets along well with other cats and would likely do well with dogs after slow introductions.

Sochi is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. An application must be submitted and approved online prior to scheduling a meet and greet.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
