Hello, my name is Jordan and I am a slick and handsome black cat who is looking for a furever home that loves handsome black cats. Now I am not much on sitting still so I can not say that I would be the world's best lap cat but I sure do a mean dance around your legs just waiting to be petted and loved. And I will talk to you while you pet me and I do love a good tummy rub. If you are looking at my bio please don't let my photo turn you away because I am a very sweet cat and I know this because my foster said so. I am getting use to large dogs and if you have a friendly cat I can get along with them also. I may be shy at first but it dose not take me long to warm up and to become one with you and your family. I also love to eat so I will never pass up wet food or a treat. If you feel like I have that special "something" that you cannot resist come meet me and let me assure you that I am the black cat for you.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
