My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yarrow, a cat with a heart as big as her personality. She's a natural nurturer, having been a fantastic mother to her babies. Now, she's ready to be loved and doted on in a home of her own.

Yarrow is a bundle of joy, her energy and playfulness are infectious. She absolutely goes wild for feather wands and has a blast chasing after balls and toy mice
She's the type of cat who would happily chase a toy mouse one minute and curl up in your lap for a cuddle the next. She loves to be held and petted.

She's friendly to everyone she meets, and her sweet nature is impossible to resist. Her beautiful soul shines through in every interaction.

Yarrow isn't just a pet, she's a companion, a playmate, and a source of unconditional love. She's waiting for a forever home where she can share all the love and joy she has to give.

Adopt Yarrow and let her brighten your life with her sweetness and charm.

Yarrow is currently at our PetSmart location. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here or email adopt@ahsem.org

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
