My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco, a charming adult dog with a heart as sweet as her name suggests. Her friendly demeanor is sure to win you over, while her independent spirit will impress you. Coco`s sweetness is her most endearing trait, making her a joy to be around. She may thrive best as the only dog in the home initially, allowing her to settle in and receive any necessary training at her own pace. Coco`s independent nature means she is comfortable exploring on her own, but also loves the company of her human companions. She`s a wonderful balance of self-sufficient and sociable. Adopting Coco means gaining a loyal friend who will add a touch of sweetness to your everyday life. Her friendly and independent nature make her the perfect companion for someone looking for a pet to share their life with. Adopt Coco, and experience the joy of unconditional love and companionship.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
