LISTED AS A GERMAN SHEPHERD FOR EXPOSURE ONLY BUT HES TINY! 30 pounds Full grown!! Yes, you read that correctly! MEET MUDGE! His little nub was cleaned, checked and wrapped and he got all of his vaccines and fecal testing done. Doctor confirmed he should be full grown at his current size. He’s a young adult, between 9mos to 1.5 years of age on the high age estimate. Mudge LOVES and craves attention. He is every happy go lucky, energetic and doesn't know a stranger. Good with kids. Has potty pad experience, but is used to being let outside to do his business. He is very well socialized with all other sized dogs. He loves to play with everyone. He likes to use the pet stairs to crawl up onto the human bed for snuggles. Mudge the tripod is eagerly awaiting his loving forever home. He is neutered, microchipped with AKC and has his AirTag on for safety. He is not special needs. Everyone that meets this pup loves him.
Weighing in at only 13 pounds at his initial vet visit (he was emaciated and very thin upon rescue intake). Sadly his body score condition was extremely low during his first exam / doctors appointment. So we’re working hard to change that to give this deserving dog the opportunity at an incredible new life! Hes deceiving since he looks like a German shepherd but hes tiny, approx. 30 pounds full grown. Our best guess is hes a Keeshond, MAYBE Pomeranian mix (Pomsky? PomTerrier?) Elkhound?? No one knows but DNA would sure be interesting to find out!
