Meet Goldie, a lovable 3-year-old Pit Bull with a heart full of loyalty and affection. Rescued by a kind-hearted good Samaritan on 8/7/24 from the Katy Trail by Research Park, Goldie quickly formed a strong bond with a male kennel attendant, showing her sweet and loyal nature. This bond inspired him to find the perfect home for Goldie.
Goldie was adopted on 9/17, but her adventurous spirit led her to make a humanless adventure. She became the talk of St. Charles County for two days! Thanks to the dedication of amazing volunteers and her favorite kennel worker, Goldie was safely found but still in need of a loving home.
Goldie is incredibly sweet with every human she meets and forms a special trust with men. While she takes a bit of time to warm up, she is looking for a forever home with patience and love. She is selective with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is required, but she is okay with cats and would do best in a household with older kids who understand the importance of keeping doors closed.
Goldie walks beautifully on a leash and is ready to bring joy and loyalty to her new family. Could you be the patient and loving home that Goldie has been waiting for?

You will be asked to fill out an adopton application and speak to a staff member who will help you make your selection. We are happy to keep your information on file and work with you to the best of our ability to help you find the perfect pet. Adoption fees are $60.00 this includes, spay or neuter, microchip, worming, some vaccinations, and heartworm test for. We offer a feline leukemia test for $15.00 non refundable at the time of adoption.
