Meet Bernie, a 1.5-year-old, 55-pound bundle of love and laughter! This charming pup has a knack for making everyone smile with his super funny antics, but he also knows how to kick back and relax. Playful yet respectful, Bernie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is always up for some fun. He's a total love bug, ready to snuggle up and be your loyal companion. Bernie is eagerly waiting for his forever home, where he can share his sweet and joyful spirit. Adopt Bernie, and let the good times roll!
Bernie and his friends lived on chains outside without access to food, water or shade. After law enforcement seized the dogs and arrested their previous owner, the dogs came to our rescue and have gotten the veterinary care that they need. Since Bernie has never lived in a home or had a loving owner he'll need his adopter to be patient while he's learning how to be a cherished companion!

After dogs are seized by law enforcement in relation to animal cruelty they're required to stay in a holding facility until their previous owner has been sentenced. This can be months or years. After sentencing, the dogs are no longer considered evidence and have a very short amount of time to find placement before being killed. Our organization strives to find responsible placements for all dogs involved in cruelty court cases and eliminate euthanasia for adoptable animals.
