Chaz is full of playful, friendly energy! He is such a sweet boy, always eager for his walk! He is absolutely adored by many of the volunteers! He is a hound mix and has a typical goofy hound personality! He does well with other dogs and would do well in an active home or with a playful canine companion.
This adorable adoptable 2 year old Hound Mix just got a fantastic foster update! Here is how Chaz is doing in foster:
`He loves his attention, gets bursts of energy, and loves playing tug of war. He also likes to cuddle up on the couch. He loves being outside, both walks and running around in the backyard, you can really see the hound in him when he starts sniffing around. He`s really good with big groups of people and gets along with everyone. Also he has never had an accident in the house or anything and is pretty good in the crate at night.`
Interested in adopting this handsome dog? We don`t blame you, he`s stunning with a great personality, which is like the whole package. Our adoption fee for dogs is $200.00. This fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip, dewormer, and consistent heartworm and flea prevention before leaving the facility.
If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website hsecarolina.org where you will find our adoption application. Please fill it out and submit, and once your application is reviewed, someone will reach out to you to set up an appointment.

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
