My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes: Taz has been in our care approaching 3 months. 3 months in a confined kennel, without time to play or time to cuddle. 3 months for a big boy who is young, playful, and bright. Imagine what you did in the past three months? Did you train for the NYC marathon? Did you meet a new partner? Did you start a new job? Taz has just sat, waiting to be noticed. Waiting to be loved.

Taz had lived with 3 adults. He is friendly with strangers and visitors, and very playful with dogs and children. He is a very active and social boy, which makes life at the shelter so much harder. He is reported to be crate trained, and he knows basic tricks like sit and paw! He loves to play in the water whether at the beach or bath time.

When greeting a dog at the shelter, Taz displayed a soft body and wagging tail. He also offers a bounce! He played chase with her, stopping during play to take a break and reengaging. Taz is looking for an experienced home who will enjoy his energy and gusto for life.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I have potential behavior challenges that staff will address with you when you meet me.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
