Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keith is a great dog who is medium sized (40lbs) and about 3 years old. He looks to be a heeler or kelpie mix. He is great with other dogs of all sizes and with cats, he loves being outside, he loves water, he walks well on the leash, does well in the crate, is potty trained and is overall just such a great dog.
Keith was at a small rural shelter that had recently turned into a kill shelter and I was there to pick up 3 other dogs trying to get as many as I could out. I was told about Keith but no one had a picture of him so while I was at the shelter I asked to see him. I walked with the 3 I came to get already loaded in the van and just started crying because I knew many would be killed. I told the volunteer "go get Keith, I can't go back in there, but go get him". A few days later, 9 dogs lost their lives and their faces still haunt me but Keith lived and he is a great dog who deserves to live the best life in honor of his friends who didn't make it.
He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
