Meet Rachel – The Sweetest Wobbly Wonder! From Rachel’s foster mom:
Rachel has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), or “wobbly kitten syndrome,” but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! This adorable little calico mix with her unique tortie-like markings, white belly, and tiny white paws is full of love and life. Watching her wobble over with determination to greet you is enough to melt anyone’s heart!
Rachel is the ultimate cuddle bug – she adores snuggling in laps, purring contentedly, and soaking up all the love she can. But don’t let her soft side fool you; she’s also a playful warrior who doesn’t hold back when it comes to games with her foster siblings! Whether she’s swatting at crinkly balls, chasing toy mice, or tackling the ball track toy, Rachel is a feisty and fearless kitten who brings so much joy.
Rachel is growing more independent each day, even as she finds a few challenges with her balance. She can manage her litter box and get around fairly easily but may need a hand for higher surfaces, like couches. Her CH means she can’t get to countertops, which makes her a wonderful choice for someone who prefers a cat that stays grounded! Her forever home should be prepared to make a few easy accommodations so she can enjoy all of her favorite activities.
She’s been introduced to other cats, kittens, and even big dogs, adapting beautifully and making friends along the way. She does make her feelings known and will hiss upon first meeting a new animal, but gets over it and starts playing fairly quickly. Her closest buddies in her foster family are her siblings, Phoebe, Josh and Tiffany, who often snuggle with her for naps. Adopting Rachel with one of them would be perfect for someone looking to double the love!
Rachel’s gentle spirit and brave heart are ready to bring warmth and playfulness into her forever home. If you’re looking for a sweet, wobbly little companion who will brighten every day, Rachel is your girl!
My adoption fee of $150 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
