Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Velveteen Rabbit but my foster mom calls me Bunny. I'm a beautiful, soft, and sweet younger boy.
My favorite things are snuggling with the humans, playing with string toys, eating wet food, and more snuggles with the humans. I like to follow my foster mom everywhere so I can get all the pets I can. I make sure I'm the extra blanket when we nap or sleep at night.
While I'm so sweet and snuggly and love pets I need to not be startled when I'm getting comfortable in my new home. My foster mom thinks I might have been hurt by people in my former life and I need to be feel like I'm in a safe environment. But don't worry, if you only show me love it will be returned in spades ! Because I need to feel safe and not startled I'd do better in home without young kids and where I'm the only cat.
I am FIV+ but it's no big deal! We suggest twice a year exams with your regular vet to ensure he stays in tip top shape. FIV can lower a cat's immune system so things like kitty colds can affect them more than a FIV negative cat. But overall there is not "extra" day to day care needed for a FIV positive kitty like Velveteen Rabbit!
Velveteen Rabbit is fixed, microchipped, FeLv negative, FIV +, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
