My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!

A Volunteer Wrote: We wish this amazing boy had the superpower to fly his way out of the shelter and into your loving home, but he may need a little help on this one. He is heart-meltingly wonderful, all love and snuggles and mellow energy. One of his favorite things to do is sit in the sun with his head on my leg; if I happen to pet him, all the better, but he'll settle just for me being near.  Sweet Batman cannot get close enough to his walker to show how much he loves them. (He was timid when he arrived in the shelter and shy of being touched, but those days are clearly long gone.) He's a knockout on a leash, never pulling, appears beautifully housetrained, and has the biggest, kindest heart. He could use a hero of his own right about now, and if you can take him home, you will feel like you saved yourself as well as him!
