For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This gorgeous 65-pound lab mix is three years old and has waited long enough for a family to call her own. One look into those endearing eyes and we hope you fall for her just like the rest of us have.
Not just a pretty face, Pinky is a very smart, capable girl. She knows her basic commands and will gladly show them off for a tasty treat which she takes gently. Before coming to GLDR, she was in a foster home with other dogs and did well with them, though we are told she may like to chase cats so better to avoid those in her new home. She loves hanging outside and a yard for her to enjoy is a must for our precious Pinky.
She can be shy when you first meet her, but soon enough, Pinky will be flashing you that amazing smile and will be your best bud. She tends to be a bit hesitant around men, so her new family will need to be patient with her while she adjusts and earn her trust. Building a lifelong bond with her will be something that will bring you joy for years to come.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Pinky will do best in an active, but predictable home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel she may have the potential to live with other dogs in her new home and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
If you think Pinky sounds like your kind of pal, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application today!
