This beautiful little girl is approx 6 years old and 15 lbs
She is a Shih Tzu/.Bichon Frise/Chihuahua...per her Dna with a few other breeds thrown in !

she is a very sweet and dignified little dog, she is quiet , well behaved , house and leash trained, she gets along with the other dogs but would much prefer to be an only dog that gets all of the attention
She is very athletic and can scale a 6 ft fence and jump on a high counter to be where her human is, she likes belong with people,she will needed to be watched if let out to a yard to go to the bathroom,she has a really nice disposition and would be a great companion for someone

She tested positive for heartworms when we first rescued her and has been treated with the 3 shot protocol per the American Heartworm Society, we usually find that the heartworms clear in 4 to 6 months and the Ahs recommends retesting in 9 months after treatment

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes , the interstate health cert and transport to the north east ,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at
