BEAUTIFUL CHANTILLY arrived at VBACAC as a stray. She had a partner in crime (so to speak) but no one was talking! LOL so we don't have any info as to where they were from or what they were up to.
They are safe and sound now but without being reclaimed, without even a collar on either one, we are now looking for a new home or homes where they will be cared for, loved and watched over so as to never end up stray again.
Chantilly is the nervous one. She is also the bigger one, weighing in about 80 pounds, most in her midsection but don't tell her that! She will warm up but it might take some time before she is fully comfortable. This means, go slow! Don't push her. Let her settle in at her own pace.
She is also the one I got numerous compliments on as I walked her outside. She is a looker!
As mentioned before, she did arrive with another dog but they do not have to be adopted together.
Bring any resident dog in for a meet and greet.
That's about all we know about her so far.
She is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see her, please just ask.
