My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sklyer and his siblings are the sweetest kittens! They are fun and playful, love to be held and cuddled. They all tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus) when they were spayed/neutered. This means they will need to be retested. The best home for Skyler would be one with one of his siblings.  Please contact their foster mom at anangelrn@aol.com to meet these wonderful kittens!

FeLV can be spread to other kitties. It cannot be spread to humans, dogs, or any other animal.

They will be going to adoption at Pet Food Express, 5829 Lone Tree Way, Suite B, Antioch, CA 94531 (across the parking lot from Best Buy). Please check with their foster mom to see if they will be there that day. Hours at Pet Food Express are Fridays from 4-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 10-1:30 (we will not be there the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Please bring your own carrier! And thank you for considering these beautiful rescued kittens!

More about this rescue

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
