Mr. Orange is 13yo, weighs 11.5lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped. Mr. Orange is left home alone about 10-16 hours per day and is free to roam the house. At night, he sleeps wherever he wants, but usually does so on a cat bed or a blanket. Since he's an exceptionally chill cat, Mr. Orange does well during car rides.
Mr. Orange's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him:
"My life circumstances have changed and I have found I cannot provide much attention to both my cats for the foreseeable future. Last year Mr. Orange was diagnosed with diabetes, so must be kept inside with a closer watch on his health. He's a very chill and lovable cat, and I overall I feel he needs a home that can provide him with the attention and love he deserves now that he can no longer enjoy his life outside."
Mr. Orange's guardian offers a brief a medical history:
"- Urinary crystals - diagnosed several years ago - treated by Royal Canine Urinary SO prescription diet. Willing to buy an extra month's worth of dry food for the new owner.
- Diabetes - diagnosed 1 year ago - needs twice daily injections of insulin gargline with meals. Well treated by meds. No history of seizures. He quickly got used to getting the injections and will even stop eating and lay down on his own to wait for one before continuing his meal. He's never complained once about an injection."
Mr. Orange's guardian states the following regarding children: Since Mr. Orange hasn't lived with nor otherwise been around children, his guardian doesn't recommend his living with children, stating "Mr. Orange has never been around children. I think he would be chill with them, like he is with dogs, but I cannot be certain".
Mr. Orange's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Although Mr. Orange has lived with dogs, his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs, stating "Mr. Orange has lived with dogs before and can tolerate them. He is still a little scared of dogs, so it may take him some time to get used to living with them again".
Mr. Orange's guardian states the following regarding cats: Since Mr. Orange has lived with cats, his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "Mr. Orange tolerates and occasionally socializes with other cats. He's been living with a senior cat who barely tolerates other cats. He usually gives her space whenever she gets angry with him".
Mr. Orange's guardian describes him as:
Couch potato
Quiet
Friendly
Affectionate
Independent
Always at your side
Indoor Only Pet
Mr. Orange's guardian describes his ideal future home: "An ideal future home for Mr. Orange would be one where he could get frequent attention and love."
