This helps West Coast Paws Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Hiya frenzz! My name is SELENA and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
RESCUE STORY - Me and my siblings were born in a house with someting called a "family", but we were given up when we were just two months old because they didn't want us. Can you believe it??! Thankfully, our rescuer took us immediately to the vet! Even though we weren't taken great care of for our first two months of life, the vet said we are totally healthly. We've all been waiting in the shelter ever since just WAITING for someone to take us home!
I am an energetic social gal! Sometimes I like to run around and steal food and toys from my siblings. What can I say?! It helps get me attention from the hoomans and then they end up petting me! I just love that. One thing I am working on though is that I because I like hoomans so much, sometimes I nibble on your toes or fingers. Apparently this is someting lots of puppies like to do, but I am told that I REALLY enjoy it! My new family will need to help show me that this behavior is not okay (probably by giving me food when I don't do it heheh).
TEMPERAMENT - I am the most independent out of my siblings. I loveeee to play with both humans and dogs, but I also like to spend time alone just exploring the great big world! Another thing I am a big fan of is F-O-O-D! I am told that I am super food motivated and will learn quickly if you have the right snacks. I don't have any problems sharing my food with my siblings either.
ENERGY LEVEL - Medium, I'm a typical pug! I can play but then I am happy for a snooze.
GETS ALONG WITH:
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter.
ADOPTION FEE:
My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD ($750.00 + PST and GST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
