My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**    Meet Fiora! Fiora can sometimes be a little shy, but she’s curious and persistent. Fiora loves toys! She likes to bat at things with a paw before deciding if they are safe to play with. Most of all, she is a playful little kitten who doesn’t mind a cuddle, but would love if you dangled a string for her to chase. Fiora is social with the other kittens in her community room. They all like to chase each other around and play fight, but will fall into a cuddle pile with anyone who acts friendly. Fiora was born April of 2024. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. As always, our cat or kitten adoptions are free will donation for approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
