My story

Happy Hank is an 8 month old Lab/Pit mix that is all about loving you and having spreading his sunshine personality with everyone he meets. This older puppy came from a very rough part of rural Tennessee and the environment was really bad. Despite all of this early exposure in his life to bad people, he still has turned out to be a really nice dog along with his brother Shadow. They are not scarred as many can be. He is good with other dogs and we will try him with cats soon. His easy going personality makes us think that he is going to be an exceptional boy to consider adopting into any family. We have started teaching him the leash and he is excelling at it. He would love a home and a yard and could certainly be happy with another dog friend in the family. He will soon be an adult and we feel he will weigh 50-60 pounds. He is neutered and complete on all shots and healthy as can be. We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home?
