Hi! Huck here!

I am a very friendly young lad that is 6 months old and weighs around 34 pounds. They think I might be a hound mix, black mouth cur, or maybe just a supermutt (that is the best kind)! Whatever I am, I am a handsome boy!!! I came to Canine Collective with my brother Finn who I love to play with but I just love human attention too. My brother is a bit more confident than me, but once I have a second to take in my surroundings, I am good greeting anyone who wants to come by. Having another dog in the home would be really great for me. Could be cool if it was Finn but i think i would do good with just another confident dog to show me the ropes and of course play with me.

I really thrive on lots of pets and playtime. I am a very happy, fun, energetic pup looking for a loving home. Kids are cool, dogs are cool, and all humans are cool!

Wont you please come and meet me! You just might take me home! And if you would like double the fun and love, I might put up with Finn too! But I'm fine if it's just me.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.

We are a private, nonprofit, all breed, no-kill dog rescue.
