Marzipan is a delightful kitty as sweet as her name. This Siamese mix gal has a unique look: her body is white with a few delicate apricot spots and she has Siamese coloring on part of her head and tail. Marzipan is a former street cat who is adjusting well to life indoors. She is a little timid at first but she will be purring and head-butting you before you know it. She is highly treat motivated and this is a great way to bond with her. At about 2 years old, Marzipan still really loves to play and interactive play time is a fantastic way to establish trust. When she’s not playing she loves to make biscuits, nap in her cozy bed, or do a little birdwatching from her perch.
Marzipan is not a lap cat at the moment but she does generally like to be where you are, distracting you with her beautiful blue eyes and overall cuteness. She’s not very subtle when she wants something—she will get right up in your business and get between you and whatever you are doing. She also likes to wind between your legs and give little chirps and meeps. If you work from home, make a space on your desk for Marz!
Marzipan has been most comfortable in a quiet, calm home with gentle humans who respect her boundaries. She doesn’t like loud noises or sudden movements though she does recover from these experiences quickly. Like a lot of cats, she can get overstimulated with too much petting or petting in off-limits areas. Marzipan would be okay as an only cat. She might also be okay with another cat after a proper introduction. Due to her white coloring, Marzipan needs to limit her sun exposure and must be an indoor-only cat. Estimated DOB 7/1/2022. Kitty Bio #15976IE-Ma.
