My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ashley was surrendered to BHS because her family could not care for the whole litter. They got a couple adopted but were moving and had to have them rehomed immediately. The family had the pure bred German Shepherd who got out and met up with a hound. We took in six puppies and Abe and Ashley are fostered together. They are both sweet, friendly pups. The family they were with had 3 little girls to play with them and another dog in the household besides their Mom. They are well socialized. They are a little mouthy as all pups are so small children might not appreciate that.

Ashley has been dewormed, has received the first Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine, and has been started on preventative for fleas and ticks. She will be microchipped prior to adoption.

Since Ashley is not yet spayed, she is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County.

The adoption fee includes getting Ashley spayed later and we ask for a $50 fee that will be refunded when we get proof that she has been spayed along with a signed contract stating that it will be done by 6 or 7 months of age.
