My name is Rocky!

Rocky is a male 9 month old Lab mix, and is a happy-go-lucky and friendly pup. He is a little reserved when he first meets someone, but then comes forward once he realizes that other dogs are getting all of the attention. Rocky gets along well with other dogs, and has lived in the same pen with a few different ones while at the shelter (currently with Wayne). Rocky likes chasing balls or other toys when you throw them, and also enjoys playing with Wayne, which is so cute to watch! And when it’s time to cool off, Rocky enjoys a quick dip in the pool, mainly just to lay down in the water for a while. Smart boy! Rocky is just beginning to get used to a leash, but he is young and eager to learn. He is also so eager to find his family, and be with people who will love him as much as he will love them in return. If you’re looking for a best buddy, Rocky is your guy!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
