Midge (DOB 4/27/24) and Archibald (“Archie,” DOB 5/5/24) are an absolute delight! They enjoy the kitty obstacle course in their foster home where they can run through tunnels, hop into a box of packing paper, scale a cat tree, and launch themselves onto a giant plush mellow pillow! Climbing materials are a must for these playful kittens to help get their wiggles out. Both are affectionate kittens who excitedly greet you with little mews while rubbing against your ankles. They often want to be picked up for a minute or two in order to get a hug and a kiss and will follow you until their greeting has been accepted and returned!
Midge enjoys nothing more than a good round of hunt and chase with a wand toy. She'll hop, and dash around in hot pursuit, and if you put the wand toy away, her brother, Archie will be the next object of her playful chasing! They are a great match in both silliness and energy, with Midge being more poised and deliberate than the mischievous Archie.
Midge is a pretty pink nosed kitten who, like her brother, came into rescue as a bottle baby. Midge was very sick with parasites, but she's a petite little fighter who has thrived in our care. She has a velveteen gray and white coat, with the cutest matching toe beans and enjoys looking into your eyes while you pet her pretty fur, purring her gratitude.
Midge is only slightly reserved, and we think she will do very well in a home with other kitten-friendly cats. She can be a little much for young children, but older children will enjoy her energetic and loving personality. She is bonded with Archibald, and they must be adopted together for a lifetime of partnership.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
