Archibald ("Archie," DOB 5/5/24) and Midge (DOB 4/27/24) are an absolute delight! They enjoy the kitty obstacle course in their foster home where they can run through tunnels, hop into a box of packing paper, scale a cat tree, and launch themselves onto a giant plush mellow pillow! Climbing materials are a must for these playful kittens to help get their wiggles out. Both are affectionate kittens who excitedly greet you with little mews while rubbing against your ankles. They often want to be picked up for a minute or two in order to get a hug and a kiss and will follow you until their greeting has been accepted and returned!
Archie wears a fancy striped coat and a curious expression that complements his happy disposition. He's a frolicsome goofball who will plop on your lap for pets, then race off to wrestle with his sister, only to return to your lap for cover, with Midge in hot pursuit. She's faster than him, and he knows it! Archie is curious and adventurous, so while he might initially seem shy, he simply can't resist exploring. Any hesitations soon melt away, and he'll soon be sniffing your toes and asking for cuddles. Archie enjoys being cradled like a baby, and both he and Midge ask for uppies, reaching their little paws up your leg and calling with chirps and meeps. Irresistible!
Archie was dropped off at a Fire Station as a week-old bottle baby. They took him to Animal Control and one of our bottle baby feeders scooped him up, and hand raised him. As a result, he seems to think people are cats and does not believe in personal space!
Archie is bonded with his foster sister, Midge, and thus, they must be adopted together to remain lifetime friends. Archie is a friendly fellow who wants to be every adult cat's pal and would do well with other friendly cats. He is spunky, so a home with older children would be best, as he is likely to nibble fingers and toes.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
