For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Honey is sweet and funny, she loves people and is affectionate. She’s good with dogs once she gets to know them, but reactive to most dogs she doesn’t know. I’ve taken her to training and she knows some commands well. She has a wild streak and needs exercise every day. She loves to lounge, lay in the sun, snuggle and kiss your face! She needs someone with finances for more training and her continual medication and appointments. I’m willing to work with the right person to transition her to a new home with an experienced pet owner who can handle a strong dog. I rescued Honey in September 23 from MADACC. She was about three years old with a bad ear infection & no history. I had blood tests to find out what she is allergic to. The dermatologist prescribed her with a serum that she takes daily and I’m told she needs it for the rest of her life. That has helped her tremendously. Recently, she had a skin infection and the dermatologist said she will likely have reoccurring issues.
