This sweet and friendly 2-year-old girl is waiting at the shelter for her new family. Whitney has youthful, puppy-like energy and a zest for life. She absolutely adores treats and sits for them with enthusiastic precision. With her affectionate spirit and beautiful silky coat, Whitney is always ready to share her joy with those around her. She also has a signature move—sitting back on her heels to charm everyone she meets. Whitney is not only dog-friendly but also gets along well with cats. This amazing pup is sure to bring happiness to anyone lucky enough to take her home.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island is open to adopters! Walk-ins are welcome; however, we suggest scheduling an appointment to see our pets, so we'll have a staff member ready to assist you and to ensure the pet you want to meet is available.

If you're interested in adopting one of our pets, please visit our website and complete an adoption application. A staff member will then contact you to schedule a time to meet the pet(s) that caught your eye.
