Tessa was brought into the county shelter as a frightened stray who had trouble walking on her hind limbs and was suffering from an upper respiratory infection. After x-rays were taken, it was determined that she has a severe spinal deformity. With her sweet face, we knew we needed to save her from euthanasia and get her into our care for further diagnostics.
Thankfully, with the love and care of her foster family paired with excellent veterinary care, Tessa has fully recovered from her upper respiratory treatment.
Tessa is crate- and house-trained, has lovely leash manners and sleeps through the night. She also does so well when left unattended at home. She is learning basic obedience, though considering how incredibly food-motivated she is, she's more than happy to do just about anything for a treat!
Tessa absolutely LOVES to wrestle and run around with her foster fur-siblings. She loves all things fluffy (like herself), whether that’s napping in a cozy dog bed or squeaking her favorite stuffy. She is a playful, loving, silly girl just waiting for a family to call her own!
