My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my shelter friends said about me: "Stan the man. Such an amazingly handsome boy with one "crew sock." He is a giant puppy still hesitant of trusting the world, but he is so curious. Walking on the leash was interesting because he is scared and looked around and was on high alert of everything that moved. He is definitely trainable, but I don't think he has been on a normal walk anywhere on a leash. He is such a sweet boy though and I really feel like if he was in a home environment and realized not everything/everyone is a danger that he would walk just fine. He didn't pull too hard either giving his size and his notes I was expecting a different kind of walk. He got more comfortable the longer I was with him. I am definitely a fan of Stan."

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
