Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at Lupita.ac34@gmail.com.
Scuttle loves people and dogs, sniffing, splashing in water, and fetch. Scuttle has an unmatched joy for life, and throws himself fully into whatever he’s doing, whether that’s exploring the world with his big nose, playing fetch, or snuggling with you on the couch. This young man is a ball of joy, spreading licks and tail wags to every person he meets, all he wants to do is make everyone happy! His need to please is the only thing greater than his love of treats, so make sure he gets lots of belly rubs and head scratches.
Scuttle is still a teenager, and he’s navigating his way through the world and how to behave in it, but his eagerness for affection and treats makes it very simple to show him exactly what to do! He’s a fast learner and loves new tricks and games, whether he’s practicing his “sit” or “down”, or learning some new tools for his toolbox like “touch”, “place”, or “middle”. He can pick up a new trick in a matter of minutes, and absolutely loves showing them off!
As a young man, Scuttle has a lot of energy, but his lazy lab soul means that once he’s had some mental and physical stimulation, he will nap and self-entertain for hours. Scuttle is a very brave boy, inquisitive while being respectful of boundaries. He never chews anything that isn’t given to him as a toy, and leaves things like power cords and electronic devices completely alone.
While he can get a little excited on walks that involve running into a lot of people and other dogs, Scuttle has an intrinsic understanding of the need to be more gentle with younger/older humans and dogs, and will willingly take on a submissive role in play. He’s still working through a bit of puppy mouthiness, but is quickly learning that playing means keeping all 4 feet on the floor and his mouth to himself.
