Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Trixie, a 8-year-old Type "B" (otherwise known as the Teddy Roosevelt Type) of Rat Terrier. She is a bit pudgy right now, at 15 lbs., but is on a new diet to help her watch her weight. Trixie and her brother Ralph were apartment dwellers before coming to rescue, and weren't exposed much to other critters or children other than the family cat. As a result, she tends to be a bit nervous around children and overwhelmed by quick movements and rough play. Lap warming is Trixie's specialty, and she would love to spend most of a day keeping her person nice and toasty. She is crate trained, house trained, knows some basic commands, and is good on a leash. Trixie is very devoted to her people and is a good listener. A quiet home without little ones would be best for this gentle girl.
