Hi there! My name is Shadow and I'm a 1 and a half year old Pit Bull boy who came into the shelter in July. I'm a super sweet and very happy guy. My favorite things are playing with toys and cuddling in the laps of my new friends here at the shelter. I still have a lot of my puppy energy. I'm a very bouncy boy but I'm also very well behaved. The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.
