Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wendell is a charming 10-year-old Old English Sheepdog who is ready to find his forever home! Wendell has adapted well to various living situations, from apartments to condos and currently a three-story house, but his ideal home would be one where stairs are minimal, as they are becoming a bit too much for him. Due to a family medical situation, Wendell is seeking a new place to call his own.
This sweet boy is a laid-back companion who enjoys spending his days lounging around. He’s happiest with just two short walks and a daily game of fetch to keep him entertained and healthy. Wendell loves to keep his coat in a stylish puppy cut, and his groomer absolutely adores him, often saying she wishes all her furry clients were as well-behaved as he is!
Wendell is not just a pretty face—he’s also quite smart! He knows a variety of commands, including sit, down, stay, come, heel, place, leave it, paw/shake/high five, rollover, fetch, jump, and even bark on command.
Although Wendell is shy and a bit nervous about new people, he does come around quickly. He really loves calm, gentle people who would like to play a came of fetch with him.
Wendell would thrive in a home where he’s the only dog, and he would do best without young children. His perfect home would also have a fenced yard where he can safely enjoy the outdoors.
If you’re looking for a gentle, well-mannered, and loving companion, Wendell might just be the perfect fit for you. He’s ready to bring joy and loyalty to his new family—could that be yours?
Wendell is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
